Strategic Data Systems (SDS) is pleased to announce that Andrew J. Toth IV has joined SDS as Vice President Enterprise Solutions. Prior to his joining SDS, Mr. Toth served as the Director of Information Technology/Information Management (IT/IM) for the Naval Aviation Depot, North Island. Mr. Toth served as both the NAVAIR 6.3.5 Deputy Program Manager (DPM) for the NAVAIR DEPOT Maintenance Systems Program and the NAVAIR Lead site Director of IT/IM with direct report to NAVAIR IT/IM CIO. He also served as the IT and IM Engineering and Enterprise Architecture manager.

“Mr. Toth comes to SDS with over 30 years of experience in support of Navy Aircraft/Component overhaul” stated Jim Christopher, Chairman of SDS. “Mr. Toth is a results-driven professional possessing extensive experience leading project teams, implementing and overseeing enterprise-wide technology programs, business solutions teams and administering budgets.”

Mr. Toth was a “Plank Owner” for many cross-NAVAIR Depot, NAVY-wide, DOD and cross-Agency projects including but not limited to NDMS, MRPII, NAVAIR Business Intelligence Working Group, NAVWAN, SMART and SIGMA Navy ERP Pilots, NAVAIR DEPOT Maintenance Systems, NAVY AIRSpeed data warehouse, NMCI, Enterprise Portal and Intranet unification projects.

While in the above posts, he concurrently was responsible for the standardization of business processes and tools (applications) across the stakeholder sites including NAVAIR headquarters, Patuxent River, MD., and the NAVAL Aviation Depot facilities; Cherry Point, North Carolina, Jacksonville, Florida, and San Diego, California. These efforts focused on the alignment of the IT Architecture to support business processes.
